Q. Why does your lowest coverage time for weddings start at 8 Hours? What if we don’t need that much time?

This is a great question! At the beginning of our filmmaking careers several years ago, we started out offering less time for our base collections. What we found is that we ALWAYS needed more time. Ultimately we found that it’s far better of an experience for our wonderful couples to not stress squeezing everything into an unrealistic timeframe or having us miss anything important. Also, coverage time is NOT what impacts the price of our collections. It’s edit time. The more content we capture and the longer the films length - the longer the edit time. An additional 2 hours of coverage time is NOTHING in comparison to an additional 20 hours of processing time!

Another consideration is the additional time to capture some of our included elements like Drone coverage for example! We like to start the day by capturing the set and setting immediately upon arrival - both with the Drone and our cameras. This process alone easily takes 40 minutes or so. In addition, we coordinate with DJ’s and set up audio equipment for all locations, and we set up lighting equipment for evening or indoor segments like speeches, dances, entrances, exits etc.

Q. Can we choose the music?

We do not use music that is attached to major labels for three reasons:

1. Licensing popular music is ridiculously expensive. As in the thousands per song!

2. We want our couples to have a FRESH experience when watching their film. The music drives the mood and the emotion and the vibes. We don’t want to use music that has been attached to two many other experiences and memories already!

3. We love supporting Independent small artists who craft their music out of PASSION and true love for their craft!

With that said, if you like to be more involved - we can direct you to our extensive libraries where you can make selections within our available framework!

Q. We’ve noticed a lot of variation in styling of your films. Whats the reason?

No wedding is the same… and we LOVE to tailor each film to fit the vibe of the day, the vibe of each couple and the way the act around one another (lovey, playful, reverent, goofy) and also the content of the day. Some of our films will have more effects, others we will conduct “interviews” while others will be more simple with an emphasis on the beauty or dynamic drone shots! That is part of the process that we love so much… finding the vibe and letting it tell the story.

Q. What’s the turnaround time?

Our turnaround time window is 4-7 months… with 6 being the average. This is due to our in-house editing all done by Aaron. Since we prioritize the quality of our films vs achieving higher volumes… we feel the best approach for consistency is to do in ourselves! Our average edit time is 60 hours per project. Since most of our weddings take place in a 2-3 month season (spring season and fall seasons) we tend to film a lot of weddings close together. If 6 weddings all require 60 hours of processing time, you can do the math! We appreciate your understanding as we do our best to make your day pure magic!
